Awards

At Richmond And District Angling Society, we believe that it is important to give recognition to members who make a positive contribution to the club.  We have therefore introduced an awards scheme. Committee members can nominate someone for an award. Members can put forward names to the membership secretary for consideration. . 

Awards could be made to members who have:

Helped at work parties on a regular basis ( ie three times).

Helped with Riverfly or Water Testing ( three times).   

Come up with a great idea which we adopt.

Raised funds for the club.

Been a top contributor on Facebook, X or Instagram.

Submitted regular contributions to the website (photos, articles, news).  

Helped at events (three times). 

Gained a relevant qualification such as angling coach, emergency first aid or similar.

Or any other worthy reason that benefits the society.

Recipients will be given a promo code to enable them to book a FREE Day Permit* for a friend or family member. Guests using the Day Permit must be accompanied by the member who has received the award. 

Awards will be issued by the Chairman (at his discretion). 

*Guests must have an EA licence. This is not included.
