A short section of water ideal for coarse fishing. There are lots of Dace here as well as grayling and trout, pike, perch and chub. Day permits available or very affordable annual membership.
Any legal method allowed. All fish to be returned unharmed.
Beat length approximately 190m (0.1 miles).

Peg 37, wade near the island in low water.
Coarse Fishing
Both pegs depending on water conditions.

Park on Bridge Road outside Brompton on Swale cemetery. St. Edmunds Close is opposite the cemetery, with a lane leading to the left (What Three Words ///hires.destiny.heightens)

Follow the lane which shortly narrows to a path at the grey gate on the left.
Follow the path until you come to the river.
Turn left along the riverside path.
Go through (or past) the redundant kissing gate and on under the motorway bridge.
Continue along the path until you reach the RADAS top limit sign. The bottom limit is the stone bridge (just visible in the photo beyond the iron footbridge.
The walk takes between five and ten minutes.
Peg 36 is about 150 yards upstream of the main Road bridge, on the north side of the river, just beyond the river gauging station.

Peg 37 is midway between peg 36 and the road bridge. It is just below the iron footbridge.
